Angels
Way Maternity Home mission is to provide a Christian home with a
nurturing environment where pregnant women receive education and
training in making life choices. Angels Way in Canoga Park is a
program home for single, pregnant women eighteen years of age or older
who have chosen to give their baby the ultimate gift...life. Each
resident participates in a program of employment, school or volunteer
work. Household tasks are shared among the residents.
Instructions in nutrition, childbirth, parenting, and homemaking skills
are offered. Weekly counseling sessions help the resident
realistically evaluate choices to parent or to place the baby with an
adoptive family. Angels Way is administered by a board of
directors and an advisory board who serve without pay.
