Welcome to Fresno Christian Reformed Church!

 

Welcome to the worship of our great God! Today you are invited to celebrate His love and care. This is what the prophet says about our great God: “The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm…. The Lord your God is with you; He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:15b, 17)

 

If you are a guest with us today, we would like to express a warm welcome to you. Please fill out the Welcome Card in the pew and place it in the offering bag, and join us for refreshments and fellowship after our morning worship.

 

This morning Pastor Nick Van Beek will bring us a message, “One Body, One Baptism” from 1 Corinthians 12:12 - 26, and we will witness the baptism of Irelynn Sophia, the infant daughter of Mark and Serena A. Next Sunday we will bid farewell to Nick and Carrie, Madelyn and Lillian Van Beek, and Pastor Nick will bring us his final message, “Power in Weakness” from 2 Corinthians 12:7 - 10.

We express our Christian sympathy to Carrie Van Beek and family in the passing of her grandmother, Arlyna Vander Griend, last week at the age of 88.

 

Please pray for our widows; continue to pray for Trudy L.; pray for those who are on their own; and pray for those who have or are expecting new babies. Also pray for Bill V. K. and his prison ministry on Wednesdays.

Sunday School will meet today at 11:00 am with classes for all ages: little ones in the nursery, kids aged 4 to 7 with Terri Agabashian in Room 3, those 8 to 11 with Matt Gailey and Cyril Rebel in Room 11, and older kids with Ernie Gonzales in Room 10. Young Adults (YAMS) are studying the gospel of John in a study called, “Deepening Life Together,” and adults can study Luke with Carl De Jong in Room 5/6. (No classes next week.)

 

Mocha Time is studying Francis Chan’s book, “Crazy Love” on Thursday mornings at 9:30 am, with child care provided. Invite your friends! Everyone is welcome!
